    preserving life of display

I downloaded the most recent version of Slimserver. I no longer am able to set the player to display nothing while it is off. In the server, it is set to do this, but that feature is not working. Has anyone else experienced this? I run OS 10.4.2 on an eMac and have been in control in this manner in the past, but no longer.

Use the BRIGHTNESS button to dim the display all the way down when
    it's off.

Thanks a lot Dean. That did the trick. I guess I had it set up that way before, but was not able to troubleshoot it further. I hate to see that thing on in the middle of the night, besides when I bought this thing nearly three years ago it cost me a lot. I don't want to burn it out. I picked it from you guys right at your facility in Mountain View. I love it.
