Internet out trying to use Ethernet to router

Iím in SWF where we got hammered by rain. My SB Touch wonít stay connected wirelessly to my router. I ďassumingĒ itís because router keeps looking for internet and canít find it - but I very well could be wrong.

So I move my XFINITY router to my stereo area with RPi running PiCorePlayer. Connected Touch via Ethernet but it wonít connect.

Iím absolutely illiterate about routers. Itís asking me

    Try again
    Renter password
    enter IP info manually
    Self-assign address

Have no clue what Iím doing wrong. Other than thinking I may have to connect to router as admin and change it to router only?

Help. We just got power back and Iím looking forward to playing music.

Install and run Advanced IP Scanner:
    https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/

It will find your piCorePlayer server IP address. Enter this manually in your Touch.

If you don't have internet access, mysqueezebox.com can't be reached. Try starting LMS with the No MySB option enabled on LMS tab of piCorePlayer. (You've never said so, but I assume your instance of LMS is running on your RPi.)

Yes running LMS on RPi. So Iíll use web control via laptop?

I can also run LMS on laptop but I couldnít get Touch to connect via WiFi.

Wish my laptop had digital out so I could at least play through my separate DAC even by iTunes.
