squeezer app for smart tv

I have a Samsung smart tv. I was able to put the Tidal app which works great .. is there an app that wld connect lms ?? I looked for Squeezer but not available ... (I use squeezer on the android tablet)

I know of no smart TV LMS controller app.

If your TV has a web browser, and you use the Material skin in LMS, you could use that (now playing pic below), although trying to navigate an LMS controller using a TV remote and on screen pointer is no fun.

You just need to download app on USB stick and install manually.. Some will work some won't.. Some might looks bit strange.. Only reason some of them are not available on your TV play store is that they not optimised for resolution etc..

I use squeezer on firestick it's same principle of manual install.. It's android afterall

I've got a low-tech solution - my big "football" Samsung has, amazingly, excellent internal sound - so I have a spare Touch plugged into it as AUX. I do need 2 remotes though - the TV itself and my phone with Material on it.

Many TVs have AirPlay and or Chromecast built in. Use Phillipe’s relevant plugin and all being well you’ll get sound and Now Playing display.

AirPlayBridge for Airplay or CastBridge for Chromecast - look in available plugins. Both of these generally work without too much fiddling.

I have a Samsung smart tv - it's a UPnP/DLNA player out of the box - just intall Philippe's UPnP/DNLA Bridge plugin and the TV will appear on LMS as a player - the TV also shows the cover art while playing.

Samsung 43" appeared as a player, and once I allowed the connection it began playing just fine through the AVR ..... I was happy to have the ability to control tidal from my phone instead of with the remote ... much easier ...

now going to put Picore player in the kitchen ...
