Spotty Error - Problem: Can't open file for

I don't know what's going on in Spotify land. But yes, it started in
Denmark. Suddenly the servers in Denmark wouldn't work any more. Using
the fallback servers helped. Now next up seems Norway... Maybe I should
just rely on the fallback servers in all cases. That certainly is not
what Spotify designed the access point lookup for. But if they can't
maintain the system, then we'll have to use whatever is working.

Perhaps it's just a little Swedish 'neighbour trolling' since Denmark and Norway seem to be affected and not Sweden haha...

Same problem here, and your solution worked just fine! I agree with the others and forwards a big thank you for your time and effort in keeping us
connected to Spotify using a Squeezebox!

I live in Sweden, if that has something to do with it.

I have encountered exactly the same thing in Holland. I was thinking of changing to other software like Mood, Daphile Volumio. But I am glad to stick to Picoreplayer thanks to this solution!!!

I am living in The Netherlands, and I also could not start any spotty file for a few days (only the artwork did appear...).

Same here (also in The Netherlands)! So after Scandinavia, now also Dutch servers were migrated / screwed up.

Thank's for the solution activating: "fallback access point". Here in Sweden (If there is a demografics problem).

(However, my LMS@PiCorePlayer(old from 2020) and an old version(unknown) of spotty was working fine, it was, however, when I upgraded LMS and spotty that I needed to activate the "use Spotify fallback access point" option.)
