Updated to DSM to 7 Can no longer access music!!!!

Last time I updated I ended up having to purchase a raspberry pi. Got that up and running with LMS and picoreplayer.

Everything was going smoothly, until I decided to upgrade my Synology NAS (DS216, I believe)again.

After upgrade I also could not use my Plex server. Managde to get that connected again following direction on their forum.

Seems like I need to figure out how to grant permission again to LMS. When on LMS I am trying to direct to the NAS folder which contains my music. I can not do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, just let me know what information I can provide.

Here's some screen grabs. I updated pCP yesterday while trying to get things to work. I am attempting to mount using NFS ( at least I think I am)

Previously in LMS I just browsed to my DUFF138_NAS folder and all my music was found.

This bit is wrong. It should say MUSIC as that is what you have called the share on NAS

That. And I'm not sure whether the "vers=3" is still required. I don't use it in my pCP/DSM7 setup.

But I'd make the share read-only, unless some other client is mounting it over NFS, too, which is unlikely the case.

I truly appreciate the help. No music yet. Here's a few more screen shots, to show you what I have done.

I changed the shared name to MUSIC. Should the mount point remain MUSIC as well.

Also inside the MUSIC folder I had subfolder (2) that is where the FLAC files are stored. ( not sure if this info helps or not)

The share name in the pCP mount section should be /volume1/MUSIC.

I disagree. I think it should just be /MUSIC without the trailing slash

In Windows smb terms you'd connect to \\NAS-IP\MUSIC not Volume 1 at all as it isn't part of the share name

This is neither Windows nor SMB :-). I only wrote what I've been using
successfully for a few years now.
