and there potentially could be new issues with new changes. But in the
past few months I haven't been actively developing new features.

The problem I have encountered concerns the Prevent System Standby plugin which no longer functions.

I pushed a change to 8.3 to address this issue. It'll hopefully available in an hour or two. Would you mind giving it a try?

Thanks Michael. Previous problem noted was that win 11 went into standby while music was playing, despite the Prevent System Standby plugin. Currently running 8.3.0 - 1652327613 and I now have a very different problem. Now, win 11 refuses to enter standy mode at all whilst LMS is running, whether as a service or not. To try and clarify, I checked debugging logs with players connected but switched off on web interface (Material). PSS set to allow after 4 minutes; sleep scheduled on win 11 for 5 minutes.
Intermittently the countdown to allow standby was interrupted by "Squeezebox is busy" or "Kitchen [picore] is busy", despite the players being off.

Next, I powered all players down, assuming this would fix it. This does indeed allow the countdown to go to zero, and moves to "allow system standby" - but still it stays awake.

Once I close the server, win 11 sleeps at 5 minutes.

I committed another change to explicitely tell the system when we're
idle. Could you please give this another try?

Pleased to report complete success with update to Version: 8.3.0 - 1652763103 @ Tue May 17 08:20:13 WEDT 2022. With Prevent System Standby set to allow sleep after 4 mins (as a test) and sleep timer at 5 mins on PC: playing music on picore and Classic, pause music, and PC asleep in 5 minutes, even with the boxes still powered on. SO, working perfectly.
