replacement for Duet receiver - compatible with LMS

The base unit/receiver has started to go - the right channel fades in and out with the coax output. The preamp coax input works fine via the CD transport .. The SB doesn't owe me a thing ...just want a player that is compatible ..

Are there any players with coax out which support the LMS eco-system ? I already have a pi-core player downstairs, but it does not have coax out .. maybe there is an adapter (?) ... would like to stay in the same LMS en

    Duet replacement

If your comfortable with electronics you can build/assemble one yourself with a esp32 for less then $20,- have a look at this thread.
There's also a readybuild by PolyVection, curently not in stock, and made with the same technology.

    HifiBerry HAT

    Greetings,
I can recommend any HifiBerry audio Hat with a raspberry pi player.
Have one in use for home cinema with toslink / coax output since 6 years.
    Never experienced any audio issue.

My lounge setup is a Pi2B HifiBerry DIGI HAT coax out, easily 6 years old now, can't fault it.
