Hi All,
I've got a now redundant Pi2 that I want to experiment with PiCorePlayer on. At present I am using a really old ReadyNasDuo which is stuck at LMS 7.80. So I'm missing out on a lot of stuff. It's slow but it does what I need it to mostly. I'm not expecting speed increases from the RPi2, but hopefully the ability to go with LMS8.0 for BBC sounds/spotty and other plugins.
What release can the Pi2 handle? Looking at release notes 3.20 talks about RPi2/3. The info talks about using older releases on newer hardware but not the other way around.
Thanks
Adam

I would suggest to use the newest version on your RPI - that will give you the best pCP with most options and fewest bugs.
.piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

I am running 2x RPI2b + HifiBerry with the latest piCorePlayer on it for years now. Works flawlessly.
I don't use LMS on it however, never tried it.Living Room: RPI2+HifiBerry DAC+ Pro & piCorePlayer
