    extend piCorePlayer with NFC?

i have realized my diy multiroom audio system with 3x picoreplayer, pi4 and hifiberry amp2.
great work on this. it works flawlessly.
i was able to use SqueezeButtonPi to add some controls.

now i have another idea for the kids.
is there a way to extend picoreplayer with NFC?
i was thinking of something like the Toniebox where you can place a figure on top and the music starts.

there are some solutions like: "pn532" or "mfrc522" but i wanted to keep it minimal.
so if python is not essential necessary this would be cool.

if have no idea how to achive this.

can you point me in the right direction?
or are there other viable solutions for my project?

No matter what you do here, its going to require some programming work. Python is probably the solution with the most examples to follow.

Once you can read the NFC codes, then is as simple as using the command line interface to send commands to LMS. We have quite a few setup in piCorePlayer......just type "pcp" on the command line in an ssh session.

As for getting to read NFC, I've never done any research here....but I'm sure you can google that.
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.
