I'm still using a 3B+ every day in the office. It's plenty powerful for
my 20k tracks and some online music integration.
Also agree on the sd card part. I'm always using video or industrial graded cards and since then I have never had a corrupted sd card.
If possible use a Ups as power source so short power outages can be bridged.SqueezeBoxes: 1x Transporter (Living room) 1x SB2 (shed), 1x Radio (Kitchen), 1x Boom (Dining room), 1x piCorePlayer (jacuzzi), 1x piCorePlayer (Garden) 1x OSMC + Squeezelite (Movie room), 1x Touch (Study 2), few spare unit's (SB2, SB3, Boom, Touch)

Though I've got a couple of Phillipe's wi-fi only SqueezeAmps (for the fun of supporting such a great project), this is one thing that makes me a tad reluctant to try the PolyVection "replacement" LMS / Player route - again (subject to correction!) wifi only, at least for the players. While recently I've had great wi-fi performance with my various systems, I still find that for "serious" listening of big FLAC tracks (especially long-form music), cabled LAN is the way to be set up.Gary Brown
