    LMS not working on Mac10.13.6

This is driving me up the wall!
Have had LMS on the Mac for ages and it was working just fine, did not use it for years and now I can finally use it again because I moved.
Everything installed it worked just fine, then after a little while it started buffering like crazy. Network test said 320 kbps really struggled.
Distance to computer is 3 meters and signal strenght is 78%.
Then I discovered the log said another server was already running! Have seen this on a post before so I figured I would remove LMS and do a clean install.
This is a nightmare, I cannot find ANY files with LMS on it, its not mentioned in the Applications either!
Terminal says there are two entries for LMS but going to the library to look for them results in nothing! Its just not there.
Downloaded two so-called app cleaners, one says you have to drag the app into the pane, impossiple when its not there, the other comes up with LMS when searching and just opens LMS!
Re-installed LMS but same result, settings were saved so not not a clean install.
Have no idea how to fix this.

    It's in Preferences: /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane. The
other copy potentially could be in your personal Library folder,
    something like /Users/yourname/Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane.

What command did you enter to find those entries? And what exactly did
    it return?

Remember that the personal library is invisible by default. You need to press the Option key while in the Go menu of Finder to reveal it.

I saw another thread about this, cant find it again of course, there it said to go to Terminal and write "find Logitech Media Server" I think, it came up with two entries which look a lot like the one mherger mentions.
Going to Applications there is nothing there though.
Good tip danco, did not know that.

In Library/Preferences I see no Squeezebox folder, only a com.slimdevices.slim.plist file.
    PreferencePanes is empty, nothing there.
In Caches there is a Squeezebox folder with three rar folders, Spotty, templates, ITunes Artwork etc.
That is all I can find....
Edit: found two PreferencePanes in trash dated August 3rd, they are maybe there because I removed Logitec Media Server from the System Preferences.

Did you check both /Library, as well as ~/Library?

Giving full listings would be more helpful.

Are you using additional disks on your mac? You could also do a

    sudo find / -name slimserver.pl

This would ask you for your password and might take a while. Then come
    back here with the result.

This is what I found, all in my personal Library folder.
I have no additional disks....except for a Time Machine.
    will try the sudo later....
