Does the TV prompt on screen when you try to connect from a new device (e.g. to stop neighbours playing out via your TV)?

I believe the TV only pairs if it is searching for the other device while the other device is in pairing mode. That should be the scenario where I'm searching with my TV while the PCP is discoverable I believe. I would think that attempting to pair from the PCP when the TV is not scanning would normally lead to an authorization prompt, but I don't believe the TV has a prompt.

I’ve searched but can’t find the answer. Can someone advise which BT Codecs are implemented in “Speaker” mode i.e. for use with BT headphones

The TV is trying to establish and input connection that is not currently loaded in the kernel. You need to load a kernel module before connecting the TV, we just went through this in another thread, I cannot recall right now the module name, and I just don't have time to search ATM.

Edit: it was on the piCore forum. Take a look, and see if the info in this thread helps. http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index...html#msg161343

    Hi,
After few months working like a charm I've got a PB concerning output sound via BT.
After reinstalling PCP my configuration is :
    piCorePlayer v8.0.0 | www v00017 | linux 5.10.42-pcpCore-v7 (32) | piCore v13.0 | Squeezelite v1.9.9-1386-pCP
The BT page is all green. I'm using the RPI build in.
The Audio output is a Audiophonics ISabre
All seems to be OK, I can also pair my mobile but when i turn on the BT of my mobile no sound !
When I try with the LMS WIFI interface I can have output sound.
Have you got any ideas ?
    Thanks.

Make sure you don’t have LMS and bt trying to play at the same time. Otherwise. You will need to show some log info.

I would check your volume. You are using the "Digital" hardware volume control. When you press the power off button in LMS for your squeezelite device, that the volume is likely being set to zero.

Do you understand that playing music through LMS uses squeezelite to send sound to your DAC, and to use your phone to play via bluetooth, it uses bluealsa-aplay?

The two programs cannot hold the DAC hardware resource at the same time. So yo need to power-off the player in LMS, so that squeezelite releases the DAC hardware. Then you can connect your phone.

Additionally, squeezelite could be configured to use the hardware volume control, it can leave the hardware mixer set to 0 volume. So make sure you have checked your Alsa mixer volume control. If you have “Digital” set in the Volume control option on the squeezelite page, remove it.
