    Problem getting spotty

Spotty is no longer compatible with 32 bit Windows. I’m mostly offline right now. But I posted instructions how to use the old helper in one of the recent Spotty threads a few weeks ago.

    Still cant get credentials

    Spotty Spotify for Squeezebox

There has been a problem running the Spotty helper application. Please make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime (64-bit!) installed on your system.

    Thank you though

Leaving town soon, so wont be able to trouble shoot till Sunday or Monday. Thanks for sticking with me for this issue. I appreciate it. Above is the message I get when I go to settings for the Spotty app.

Wonder if Uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh new update for LMS would help?

My guess is that this part might be confusing:

Can you give an example of a folder where the spotty-custom.exe file should be placed? Thanks.

To test it try putting it in the same folder as the standard helper. On mine that is
    C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\P lugins\Spotty\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread

Thanks. @Ikabob, that's a hidden folder. Open Windows Explorer, paste the following into the address box, and press ENTER:

    Code:
    %programdata%\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\Plugins\Spotty\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread

    P.S. I don't use Spotify, but I am a fellow Win 7 x86 (32-bit) server.
