    Problem playing podcasts

    Using Podcasts 2.0 in PiCore 7 running on Rpi4, I can search and find the podcasts I'm looking for but can't play them. The podcasts are listed with full descriptions but when I click Play or Play now, nothing happens. I have verified that these same podcasts work using Rhythmbox on a laptop running Linux so know that it's not a connection issue.

    Any ideas?

    What LMS version? What podcast? Any error message? Anything in server.log?

    Some progress this morning without me making any notable changes. Some podcasts appear to work while others seem to start and just stop after a few seconds. The only error message I've seen so far is from Squeezer "Connection is no longer able to work" for the non-working podcasts (which do run on my laptop).

    Logitech Media Server Version: 8.1.1 - 1610364019
    Ive tried a number of podcasts but, for example: https://forms.technologyreview.com/i...ines-we-trust/
    No error message from LMS or PiCore
    Nothing (obvious to me) in server.log. Last entry is:
    [21-06-19 12:26:41.4693] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.1.1, 1610364019, Thu Jan 14 06:27:45 CET 2021) perl 5.032000 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int

    Trial and error seems to suggest that it's podcasts from acasts.com that are not working for me. Anybody know why this might be?

    That one is working for me now as well although I don't know what changed since it wasn't.

    This one is not: https://rss.acast.com/documentary-on-one
    Under Podcasts, If I click on Edit, I get the option to Validate. When I click on this, I get a response "Failed to parse feed". However, I also get that from podcasts that work!

    But is slow to load and sometimes needs more than one click to encourage an episode to play

    Interesting, thanks.

    When you say "slow to load", what does that involve, I wonder? When I play the same podcasts through Rhythmbox on a Linux Mint laptop, they play immediately and with no hesitation.
