Sadly I think the Daphile file structure is different to vanilla LMS. I can't find a "squeezeboxserver" directory anywhere.

    ps -ef | grep slimserver
might show you where LMS is installed - although that might not help much.

It only throws up a slimserver python file, no clues there that I can see.

It is not Python ... it is Perl ... the language that LMS (Slimserver) is written in.

It shows that the installation location is
    opt/mediaserver/
However, as I said earlier, that might not help you much.

It does show that it is running though.
So, I would expect it to respond to a web browser connecting to port 8000 on that machine.

    Something like
Of course it's Perl, what was I thinking.
Sadly unable to connect on port 8000.
On port 80 I get the Daphile GUI.

EDIT: It's on port 9000 and I have the original LMS GUI up and can see the basic server settings tab.
Not clear on exactly how to put a link to my NAS folder in there.
It currently points to /srv/mediaserver/playlists and browse just pulls up the tree below srv.
I'm also not sure how persistent any changes I make here will be.

Tried putting a link to my nfs share ipaddress:/path/to/folder
    But it doesn't like that

You need to mount the nfs folder first before you can reference it
Look at the file called fstab in etc if there is one on your system
You will also need to ensure that the Daphile server is authorised to access. This is done somewhere in the NFS folder properties on the NAS.

All sorted. I followed this guide from Labdoc on the audiophile forum where I asked the same question.
