    Spotify working on Squeezebox touch?

Hello, I just got a Squeezebox touch left by one sister for years, not very familiar with it. It's still working and sounds great. But I Just want to see whether I can use Spotify with it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Install the Spotty plugin.

However, you will have to install LMS first.
This is an application that can run on all sorts of different systems - including MS Windows, MAC and plenty of Unix/Linux systems including Raspberry Pi.
It needs to be running whenever you want to listen to Spotify on your Squeezebox Touch.

I see the OP has posted also in the DIY forum.

I do wonder whether there's a concise introduction to how Squeezeboxes work in relation to LMS and mysqueezebox.com out there somewhere. I suspect that the OP may not know what LMS means if he's just got got hold of a Touch.

LMS = Logitech Media Server. Available in versions for Windows, Mac, and various Linuxes, including for Raspberry Pi. I run mine on a Raspberry Pi. Spotty is a plugin for LMS that allows you to play from Spotify.

LMS is a highly capable music streaming platform. Definitely worth reading some of the forum posts here to figure out a bit more about it, it may be a slightly steep learning curve at first.
