    Issue with 3 x PCPlayers - help?

    Hello all

    I have an issue with my players not all appearing in LMS / Daphile.
    I can only see one player appear at a time but all are on the network.
    They seem to be over the top of each other or switching position in some way as sometimes I will see the 1st player
    Then the 2nd then the 3rd but not all together.

    My Setup;
    I have Daphile / LMS running on an intel NUC
    I then have 3 x raspberry Pi4 4gb with PiCorePlayer 7.0.0 64-bit
    Each pi is networked into the same network switch
    Each pi has its own IP address on the network and a different player name.
    Each pi has an IQAudio AMP+ As a Hatt.

    Can anybody help / advise?

    From the LMS web interface
    Settings/Information
    where you will also see a list of players - do double check them ... especially their reported MAC addresses.

    Make sure you are setting the player name on the squeezelite tab.

    Player name is different that host name.
    piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

    Please donate if you like the piCorePlayer

    The issue continues...

    I have looked into this more today...

    As an indicator that their is an issue please see this screenshot showing the picoreplayer player tabs but two tabs with the same name for players;
    https://prnt.sc/12b1h3c
    and another image showing issues;
    https://prnt.sc/12b2ozm

    I have previously given each pcp player its own player name and its own host name (in tweaks tab) so I can identify them on the network.

    when going to LMS > advanced > on player tab I note that I can only see one player and i can not see a MAC address - this is just set to 00:00:00:00:00:00

    I have performed full update from within pcp on all 3 and rebooted all 3.

    Here is another image showing pcp diagnostics > network and it can not see the LMS ip.

    They seem to be in a constant state of flux changing their names and id each time they are accessed.

    Help much appreciated...

    I would think you need to set a different MAC address for each piCorePlayer. You can do that from the Squeezelite settings tab of the pCP web page.

    more checking -
    I have just gone into PCP admin and restarted the squeezelite players - they do show up and now i can see two 'patio' players - one doesn't have an IP address;
    https://prnt.sc/12b3fv7
    https://prnt.sc/12b3l2f

    So I have two patio players - one has a mac address - the other is zeros

    I understand that the mac address is set by default to the Physical MAC address of the device...?

    It should be.
    Did you switch between wired and wireless on the pCP player at some point?
