how to get information from Squeezelite from command line (Raspberry)

    Hi there,

I am a complete novice here but I am not able to get the answer anywhere on the internet - either I cannot search..
Anyway, my issue: I am using LMS installed on one of my Raspberry at home. And on 2 other Raspberries I have squeezelite players configured. All works fine except that I would like to run a command - in shell or in python - or a script and get current information about what is playing on each player and then postprocess it (i.e. display, or send message with the title or so). But how to query (a command? a library in python) and what to query: a server or a player?
Any hint please? Or link where to find such info?

    Thank you

The place to query is LMS since it tells Squeezelite what to do.
    There are various APIs available.
From the LMS web "default" interface you can get Help (bottom left), Technical Information and then CLI calls.
There are also 3rd-party tools, including Python, JavaScript, bash scripts.
