"How to detect status, enable, and disable SMB protocols on the SMB Client"
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...le-smbv1-v2-v3

If that resolves it then it might be that MS have updated a setting on your Windows PC while you were asleep and it stopped things working.
    Thank you Paul, but....
Unfortunately, I've read (and quite understood) what you wanted me to enable.
But still unsuccessful to establish a connection to the client Squeezebox Touch

But I'm sure you're on the right way... it's a question of protocol on Windows side.

You did not say which version of Windows you are using.
If it is one of the ones listed at
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...the-smb-client
then follow those instructions to enable SMBv1

you're right... Windows 10 version 1909 (up to date)
I have the same trouble on my laptop and my office PC...

Maybe could you help me please getting around the problem that way :
Knowing that winSCP is able to establish the connection to the Touch (so the connection is possible),
and that my goal is to map a virtual disk on the Touch disk ( I want to have a new disk under Windows, let's say S:\ pointing to \\192.168.1.3\media\sda1\...... my music folders when I open it), let's give up with Windows directly...

would you know a tool, able to perform that task ?

    Thank you for your ideas

WinSCP can sync folders, if that's all you want?

Why not ? In fact, in the FAQ, the developpers said that they didn’t write a function to map a distant disk.
So, I gave up with winSCP
But the « synchronize » button sounds pretty well, could be the solution.

By the way, I’m going away from my Touch for 2-3 weeks. I’ll perform some tests when I come back.
I’ll give you some news at that time, and maybe quote « Solved »

    Thank you

    Hi Paul,
that's working quite as I expected. Still looking for mapping a drive, but I'm able to synchronize a folder, what is my goal.

    Thank you Paul
    Best regards

SMB1 is disabled by default for security reasons. I don't know what the security risks are, but you can easily enable SMB1 as follows...

    - click on the search icon in the taskbar and type Turn windows features on or off. Open the Control Panel menu and scroll to SMB then click the server and client boxes. Restart might be necessary.
You can now map your drive in file explorer. I have then gone back to the SMB menu and disabled SMB1. The mapped drive remains functional after disabling SMB1.
