SB+ How can i get it repaired?

    Hello all.

This is a real long shot.

My SB+ has started to develop a background sort of fizzle noise.

I rate the SB+ highly and don't want to lose it.

Does anyone know how I might get it repaired, or even if the guy who originally made it (Patrick Dixon at @-tunes?) still exists?

    Thanks for any help.

Take care of your tongue. It is in a wet place and can easily slip.

Thanks Paul. I have now tracked him down on the Art of Sound Forum where he is still active. When I can gain messaging facilities on that board I'll contact him and see if I can get the circuit diagram for the PSU.

Ah. It is an audiophile adaption of the SB3. Mainly it's an upgrade of the PSU along Naim lines. I.e is it is very heavy!
The whole thing comes packaged in two boxes with smoked glass front and wooden ends. Very nice it looks too.

It also sounds very good. I had a both a Transporter and an SB+. I didn't get along with the Transporter, finding the sound thin and unattractive. The SB+ on the other hand has a much fatter sound that suited me better.
