Is there a way to change volume range for receiver?

Edit: Also when I said 1, 2, and 3, I meant on LMS's volume slider. a 1 on LMS was normal volume on the cambridge. a 2 was what would normally sound like 70, and 3+ was ear splitting loud. Which means out of 100 volume levels, I only really have 2 to use. 1-2.
