    Bluetooth Speaker question

Running PiCore on a RPi with Bluetooth but having problems connecting to a Bluetooth speaker. Speaker shows as connected but I can't get audio. Audio works just fine through wired speakers. BT speaker also works fine with other devices (Android phone etc.). I've looked through all the settings (I think) but don't see anything obvious. Any advice or pointers?

UPDATE: Got it working. Speaker had to be chosen under "Chose Player" in top right corner of LMS page. It seems to be a bit more complicated than I'd hoped but early days yet.

Is this a piCorePlayer in player/server mode?

It makes no difference to the Bluetooth question but strongly advise that you install the Material skin plugin if you havenít already. Youíll see why if you havenít yet.

I don't know the answer to that question (which is why I'm still posting in the Beginners forum!). Nor do I have any idea about what the Material skin plugin is or how, never mind why, I'd install it. But I am willing to learn!

The default LMS GUI at http://ipaddress:9000 is pretty ancient.

However is you install the Material skin plugin things are somewhat different. To use it you need to be usingan HTML5 compliant browser.

    Go to http://ipaddress:9000
Then at bottom right click Settings
    Then find Plugins
Then look for Material Skin in the list - put a tick in the box and click Apply at bottom right.
You will be prompted to restart the Server

When it has restarted go to http://ipaddress:9000/Material

You will see an immediate difference

Yes, indeed. Thanks for the suggestion.

The first surprise for me was realising that I can send different streams to my BT speaker and the amp/speakers attached to the RPi. Not sure that I'll ever actually use that but interesting to know.
