    Hi Bob

It's getting towards the end of July, during which your website states the product will be available:

    Is it?

    Will it?

    If not, when?

I'm happy to wait, but the lack of information is unsettling...

Yes, all looking good we still expect to start shipping by the end of July, or very early in August. Once we have a definite date we will advise on this forum.

    Interim update

All of the parts have now been machined, and labels printed. The PCB assembly is also complete. We will therefore be able to start final assembly and testing tomorrow (30th July). A further update will be issued over the weekend. As things stand, we expect to start shipping CORE32's next week (1st week August)

    Thanks.

Any chance of a user manual download?

The basic Quick Start Guide really is very basic, and only really deals with the connection and the initial set-up together with selecting a radio station to prove that the audio is working.

What is still work-in-progress, is what we are referring to as a CORE32 Handbook. This will cover things in a lot more detail. We are really concentrating our efforts firstly on final production and then on this documentation, so to be honest, we would rather you wait for this. If we do encounter further delays - on the documentation that is - not production, we will consider uploading some further info.

What we can say is that you will be able to find/open the Web UI really easily, by either entering http://core32.local:9000 in a browser window, or by using the QR code that we will include in the Quick Start Guide.

The background to this, is that we have been experiencing ongoing technical issues with the original CORE32 design, to the point where we decided to change it and this is what we have been working on.

We have to accept that it was a mistake to pre-launch CORE32 when we did, and to issue delivery dates, which have proven to be unrealistic. We need to learn from this mistake and we will use our best endeavours to do so

The good news is that the revised design has progressed very smoothly, to the point where we can now advise that the plan is to start shipping CORE32 by the end of July. The further good news is that CORE32 will now offer superior performance to the original design. Functionally there will not be any changes, other significantly faster response time and the provision of 2 x USB sockets but no SD Card storage option.

Once again, thank you for your patience

With this change in design, could you please confirm that all ports are still only on the rear face of the unit?

    Picture?

    Thank you.
