Thanks, If you are power the dacv from the raspberry pi, please try this

Enable the "beta" tab on the bottom of the pcpc Main page

navigate to Extras > bootcodes and change the wait time.

I suggest this because maybe the dac is a little slow in starting.

If the dac has its own, seperate power supply, make sure it is powered on before starting the raspberry pi. If it has an autosensing feature, please enable it.

    Looking at the problem differently.

The current player is kept as a cookie.

    What version of Firefox ?
Have you enabled/changed any security setting that could affect saving cookies ?
You can use the Storage Inspector to check the value of the "Squeezebox-player" cookie.

I was thinking about that. I deleted all cookies, but didn't help.

Security where? In Firefox? By myself no. Maybe it was something by default.

The problem could be excessive security settings may delete the cookies. You want the cookies to remain - so deleting them may just repeat the symptom.

How did you delete the cookies without seeing the Security menu ?

Has this problem started recently or was it always this way ?

Has there been a system or Firefox upfdate - firefox have been steadily increasing security levels with each release.
