Live playback stops after short period

What URLs are being played - if streams are being played direct then LMS log will not catch the problem.

There are a lot of network problems with problems accessing some sites.

There are also some HLS playing issues - what HLS stream were you playing ?

Yea, I know, the log is complete mess

I was playing from Favourites, everything had been fine in the afternoon, fip HLS just kept stopping, so I tried BBC 2 and BBC 6.

Same thing this morning (I tried fip acc this am and that was the same.)

Anyway I have reset the router to default and still have the problem from the rpi.

I then realised I have a Windows install (it's an old version, Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.3 - 1597647375 @ Mon Aug 17 11:47:24 WEDT 2020, which I did to reprogram a SB Radio).

A prelimary test seems to bode well, BBC and fip both OK.

There is some noise in the log, but it seems to be working )K.

This afternoon I'll make a new image on the rpi and see how it goes.

Thanks for your response, but I think this is "a little local difficulty" as I'm the only one reporting.

This version has poor https support so even if https is not the main issue - it will generate a lot of "noise".

edit:
The majority of log entries have "https" URLs.

Comet error is LMS can''t find a client. Not aplugin or playing issues. Often a player which existed and is now gone.

OK, but this is a fresh image

I have never noticed it before, but that, of course, does not mean it wasn't there

Going again with a clean install

I powered off all players

Installed LMS

Added the following plugins, BBC iPlayer and Extras (force of habit with the latter) Radio Paradise and Radio France. HLS v2 Plugin.

Plugged in a SB Radio and connected to the LMS

Played BBC radio 2 and 6, radio Paradise Main stream and fip HLS stream

I see a comment about the Dash ( is it the fetch? )

but all seems well with this one

It is a log "error" which I forgot to change back to info level.

You've reminded me that I have to update the BBCiPlayer plugins and remove all the defunct menus - as a few people are still using them.
