    Using msb.com locks LMS

    > So is there any reason to use MSB at all if one does not use TIDAL?

It's online image resizing proxy is faster than the one built in to LMS :-).

I once posted a longer response to this question. Basically it helps me
to give my management an idea of the number of users of the LMS
universum. I can show them that there's still a considerable community
using the overall infrastructure. It's the only interesting visibility I
have. Once this number is low, there will be questions why we'd need a
    build system, forums etc.

Well right off the bat I'm gonna switch my setting to the resizing proxy. I had assumed the opposite.

I hope this isn't to intrusive, but is Logitech still in the picture? Is that who you work for? Whatever the case, I hope the project and the community outlast me. I enjoy listening to music, but the SB's and pCP have given me enumerable hours of fun, especially since I retired. It's a wonderful product and community.

    So many thanks,

    Howard

I never 'connect' my SB-players to MSB, but have a related question:
What is the trigger that results in a player being added to the MSB player list of your account? I have never understood that: some of my players are shown, others aren't. But they are all used in the same way.

Who do you believe is paying for mysqueezebox.com, this forum, build
systems?... I don't see any sponsorship notes, but "Logitech" all over
    the place :-).

Yes, I'm a Logitech employee. That said: my SB related activity is
mostly my hobby activity. I do take care of mysqueezebox.com as part of
my job. But that's about it.

In LMS you can sign in to mysb. In addition to the sign-in there's a
setting about syncing player prefs. If you disable the syncing, players
wouldn't show up online. But it can be difficult to flip the switch
before the syncing has happened (on a new installation). With many
software players and multiple LMS installations you quickly end up with
a mess in the player list...
