Ownership transfer

Hi,

I just bought a used Squeezbox Boom on eBay. Mine broke some weeks ago, the jog is still working, but not clicking :-(

So I decided to get one from eBay before they have totally disappeared from Earth surface.

I will try to keep the story short, but there were issus with the description, the remote was missing, but most importantly, the device is still registered to the old owner. I contact the seller and he told me he also bought it from eBay and that the linked account is not his.

Niiiice! So is there a way for me to reset the Squeezebox or is there still a form of support by Logitech to get help in 2021?

My only other option would be to keep this one for parts and replace the jog on my own :-(

I contacted Logitech support and they reset my Boom for me.

I don't know what is available today. Is there firmware available? That
would reset it.
