I do have the mysqueezebox.com account entered on my system. I am just trying to understand where it fits now. It always shows up in the Favorites list and, even if deleted, reappears in the list after an LMS restart. It is always at the top of the list on the Material Skin interface so I have raised with cpd73 to see if anything can be done.
Interesting, as it does show up in my favorites, but in Material, my favorites are alphabetical, so "on mysqueezebox.com" is under the "O" order, about halfway down my list.

My Favorites list is unsorted but it is always at the top even if I enable sorting. cpd73 did say there was no reliable way to know which entry it is.

More info regarding this here: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...=1#post1007531 and subsequent posts.

Do you have multiple folders in favorites?

The Material settings page says, "Alphabetically sort favorites, rather than server supplied order. NOTE: Folders are always sorted, this setting only affects playable items."

"On mysqueezebox.com" is the only folder in my favorites list, so it is always first, whether favorites are sorted or not.

That's the way it appears to be working, anyway.
LMS 8 nightly running on Raspberry Pi OS. Mostly virtual players, occasionally with SB Radio, Boom or Classic.

That makes sense. 'On mysqueezebox.com' is also my only Folder in Favorites.

Is mysqueezebox.com accountrequired for LMS to operate correctly?

We could have yet another setting to not import those favorites?...

Or do not import them if the prefs sync is disabled? You can have mysb
integration, but disable the prefs sync. That would be much simpler and
not add yet another confusing preference...

That sounds a nice solution and would work very well for me.

Ok, pushed that change: when you've entered your mysb.com credentials,
but check the option to NOT sync prefs, the favorites should no longer
be imported. Once you've changed above pref, you should be able to
delete the folder and it should not be re-added.
