I reset all my passwords and uninstalled/reinstalled LMS (v 8.1.2) on my Windows 10 PC and did a re-scan and still no joy. I then tried temporarily disabling Windows Defender Firewall and re-scanned again, and this time the scan did pick up my TIDAL content. I then enabled the firewall and everything is fine.

It had previously all been working fine - up until a few days ago.

When you were experiencing the issue picking up Tidal content, could you play tracks from Tidal? I have been unable to get online media integration to work, keep seeing "lack of account information" error in the logs. Yet despite having no account information, I can search Tidal and play tracks just fine.

I run LMS on a synology NAS, get this error when running through docker or synology package. Don't run the firewall on my NAS. I'm at a loss for what the issue is.

    TIDAL integration not working again

Hi there. TIDAL integration seems to be a bit problematic again for me.

    I'm running LMS 8.1.2 on a Windows 10 PC.

I've rebuilt the index several times and when I view my "New Music" list on the web console it no longer includes items from TIDAL.

It does still list TIDAL under "My Apps" though, and I can select things that was OK, so it is still picking up my TIDAL login details from MySqueezebox.

Is there a known issue with the "New Music" TIDAL integration? Any suggestions?

Just to answer that point which I had missed - yes, I was able to play tracks from Tidal. I still can now, as it is listed under My Apps and I can navigate to Tidal content through that route OK. It's just that anything I add to my Tidal favourites now doesn't appear in my New Music list like it used to.

Something else I did note. When it stopped working this time all my LMS settings also reverted to their defaults. So I had to reset the paths to my music libraries and other preferences. I don't know if that is significant.

Anyhow. I've decided I am going to uninstall LMS, reset all my passwords and reinstall it again with my firewall off to see if that fixes it. It worked once before.

Tidal Integration and "New Music" List

It still isn't working as it used to. I uninstalled LMS and have now reinstalled 8.1.1 (latest stable version still?) on Windows 10 and have let it rebuild its index with my firewall turned off (Windows Defender). Like before, I can see TIDAL listed under My Apps, but no TIDAL content is listed in New Music.

    Does anyone have a solution?

Only not in "New Music", or not in "My Music" at all?

Hi. A strange thing just happened. I went to Advanced Settings on the LMS Control Panel and changes some of my preferences under My Music which forced an index rebuild - and the TIDAL content is now all there under "New Music".

Does that help to explain what might be happening?

    Thanks, Graeme

TIDAL integration has stopped working again

Hi there. This is getting very frustrating - my TIDAL integration has stopped working again. Once more I'm not seeing TIDAL content in my "New Music" list. In answer to the question of whether it is only in "New Music" or all of "My Music", I think it is all of "My Music" - based on the fact that albums that I've recently added as favourites in TIDAL are a) not in the "New Music" list but also b) the artists and albums are not appearing the "Artists" and "Albums" lists.

The only place TIDAL does appear is as an App under My Apps.

    To confirm - I'm running LMS 8.1.1 on a Windows 10 PC.

The only significant thing that seems to have happened since it was last working properly was that I think there was a fairly big Windows 10 update pushed out recently. It might be coincidence but it was immediately after that that things were messed up again.

The next time I opened the LMS Control Panel after the Windows 10 upgrade I had lost a lot of my settings. The mysqueezebox.com account details had gone, the Media Folders in the Library tab had all reset to defaults and all settings I had changed in the web interface (Advanced tab > Advanced Settings > My Music) had also reverted to the default values.

I re-entered everthing and rebuilt the LMS index and found then that the TIDAL integration had stopped working. I tried a rebuild with my firewall turned off and that didn't fix it. Changing things in the web interface hasn't fixed it this time either, so that was probably a red herring in my previous post - although it leaves me mystified as to why it suddenly started working again last time.

I've just done another index rebuild and have checked the server and scanner logs and can't see any errors.

    Any suggestions please?

    TIDAL working again

An update. I've got it working again, but this is what I had to do:

    - Uninstall LMS
    - Uninstall TIDAL App on mysqueezebox.com
    - Change mysqueezebox.com password
    - Change TIDAL password
    - Log out of everything
    - Turn off Windows Defender firewall
    - Run AVG PC Clean-up
    - Restart PC
    - Reinstall TIDAL App on mysqueezebox.com with new password
    - Reinstall LMS
    - Allow LMS index to build with default values (this happens automatically upon installation)
    - Change Media Folders to required values on Library tab
    - Add new mysqueezebox.com login details on Account tab
    - Go to Advanced > Advanced Settings > My Music and reset preferences there
    - Run index rebuild (Clear library and rescan everything)... this now picks up TIDAL content
    - Go To Advanced > Web Remore Control and reselect the main player that I want to use
    - Turn Windows Defender back on

Obviously it would be a complete pain to have to do this every time there's a big Windows 10 update (if that is what is causing it).

Once I did the above steps I then did a PC restart for good meaure - and got a Windows Defender message pop up saying it was blocking some aspects of the LMS application, so I allowed these through. I've checked Windows Defender settings and LMS is set up as an app that is allowed through the firewall, so I don't know why it is still blocking bits of it.

It's driving me mad. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble and can shed any more light on it?

Next time please check (or post here) your server.log file. There might
    be relevant information in there.

Thanks for the reply - yes, I'll do that next time it happens.
