Yep, that's the relevant thread. A few years ago the official repos were closed down due to issues to maintain them.
Personally I still miss the good-old Debian-repo because it was a perfect (and still preferable) way to integrate the updates within your os and package manager.
The current approach is workable though.
And when using Docker with a LMS container you are still able to use an automatic update mechanism with f.e. Watchtower.

Looks like the yum depositories are dead then. Shame. I will have to stick with the manual update process.
