I usually use my touch via remote control. The problem is that from across the room it can be difficult to tell which row in a list is currently selected, especially at the beginning or end of a list. Is there any way to improve the distinction between selected and unselected rows?

Long time ago, but I did manage to change the highlighted row colour on my Radio, it's been through a few resets since then so I'm no longer sure how I did it or where to find it in the menus.
Link below on how to do it on a controller, it may have been this guide that I used. Possibly SSH into the Touch and find the relevant file(s) to get the size of the image you'd need for the Touch.
Maybe some old timers on here can remember if it was possible on a Touch?
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Using the instructions in the wiki, I've just changed the highlight colour to green, no problem.
It should work the same on a Touch?
I'll try it later if I can find one.

Hmm, possibly not, the Touch doesn't seem to have the same file structure as the Radio, I can't seem to find the image files to change.

No actually that helps a lot! I went in and found /usr/share/jive/applets/WQVGAsmallSkin/images/3_line_lists/, which contains PNG files like menu_sel_box_3line.png. I should be able to use that wiki page written for the Controller as a guide to changing these PNGs. Thanks for the pointer!
