Spotty 4.4.6 and Docker on NAS, not working

I installed Logitech Media Server v8.0.1 on my Synology NAS using docker (apnar/logitech-media-server)

I have a raspberry pi with piCorePlayer.

Everything is working fine, except Spotty (for spotify connect). My Spotify cant find te device as a player.

I installed LMS also on my piCorePlayer, and it worked without issues.

I think there is a port that should be opened to the outside the docker, but which one. Has anybody got this working through docker?

Unfortunately Synology doesnt have a native LMS anymore.

I use an Intel PC with Debian and a docker container with doliana/logitech-media-server:latest-8.0 ; with this one spotty works in combination with a Squeezebox Touch. I haven't tried piCoreplayer with this (I have a Pi 3B, but that one is not used at this moment), so I can't tell you if this causes your issue.

    published ports of my container: 3483:3483 9000:9000 9090:9090 3483:3483

thank you for the reply, going to check the ports and perhaps another Docker image. Glad to hear its working.

If I am not mistaken, spotty runs through the server, not the player client.

btw, I am talking about Spotify connect.

I'm running lms in docker on Synology (community version) and squeezelite on raspberry pi 3b running on osmc is visible as Spotify connect player.. So you should be able too.. Good luck
3x Squeezebox Touch, 4x Squeezebox Radio, Squeezelite (RPi 3B with HiFiBerry DAC+Pro on OSMC), Material Skin Apk, Squeeze Commander, Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0 with Material Skin (Docker in DS218+)

    Try exposing 5353/UDP, too.

Thank you all for the replies, but no dice unfortunately.

    @Jaca what are your settings?

I created everything from scratch now, using the cummunity LMS (lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver)

Also mapped all the ports to their own ports
    -p 9000:9000/tcp \
    -p 9090:9090/tcp \
    -p 3483:3483/tcp \
    -p 3483:3483/udp

also tried 5353, but that port is already in use, now i mapped it to 5354

I installed the Spotty plugin and also have my piCorePlayer running on my Pi (dont think this is actually needed for the Spotty plugin to work, I think it works through the LMS and not the player, right?)
But I did enable Enable Spotify Connect endpoint for this player within LMS

Also tried a windows player (Squeezelite-X), same result.

I still cant see the Spotty in my Spotify client. Good to hear its working for others using Docker and Synology, dont have a clue why it isnt working for me. Also dont know how to debug this.

hmm not sure what to advise... I'm running docker in host mode as had some troubles with bridge mode and gave up investigating it further..
Other then that you are using Picoreplayer where my squeezelite is on osmc, but frankly Pcp should be way better..

Just by chance.. Are still using synology LMS package? That could cause conflict somewhere..
    Sorry I'm not much help..

Would that work with local music files, or internet radio?

Did you go to Settings/Advanced/Spotty to authorize Spotty to use your
    account?

I can use LMS and send local files and radio streams to the player, no problem. But my spotify cant connect.

Host mode would work, as it will open all ports. Perhaps I should run a port scan within the docker container.

I now solved it using the max2play Pi image and run the local Spotify client on the Pi, bypassing LMS.

Oh well, 1st world problems I guess

What do you mean with "Unfortunately Synology doesnt have a native LMS anymore."

    Never?
