Our pre-order special offer period officially ended yesterday and our new price for DAC32 from the 1st March onwards will be €65 within the EU and £65 UK. Both including the respective VAT rates. They will also be subject to a shipping charge.
We still believe this to be excellent value for money.
All EU orders have now been shipped, and we expect to make the bulk shipment to Audiostore at the end of this week. We have been slightly delayed due to a wrong part being supplied. We have now received the correct part so we can complete the production process.
As d6jg has already spotted, we plan to pre-announce our 2nd new product later this month (March). Our aim is to try reignite interest in Squeezebox in the general (well more Hi-Fi) marketplace and to do this, we are clearly going to need more than one product
Our logic is very simple. The best way to ensure a healthy future for Squeezebox is to firstly retain support of existing users, and secondly to try to attract newcomers to the platform. DIY activity has and continues to play an important part in this process, but to reach beyond this market we need new Squeezebox products. These should be ready to use, in much the same way as any other other consumer products, and that is of course our objective.
