I think I will delete my lms 8.0.0 and try the new 8.1.1 but does anybody know which version I have to install? Arm linux tarball, debian arm? ,

there is no OGG to disable. I again installed "LogitechMediaServer-armv8-8.0.0-1605892076.spk"
but nothing changed and I keep problems with spotty.
Do you know where I can find a proper LMS 8.1.? on mysqueezebox.com isn't a .spk file, so I cannot manually install it on my Synology DS218play

Unfortunately LMS on Synology has come to an end. There are many threads
about this. You'd have to switch to using Docker (if supported on your
NAS) or using a Raspberry Pi to run LMS.

Hi all,

My main family musical requirement at the moment is to be able to play Spottify, from everyone's iPhone, on varius the speaker systems in the house.

Not a fix, but a work around. Instead of using Spotty for everyone, install ShairTunes2 and let them use AirPlay to connect to their player of choice. Doesn't lend itself easily to synchronizing multiple players since you'd need to sync the players using LMS first, other than that it's fairly straight forward for the users.

Unfortunately, I've had less success with AirPlay than I have with Spotty.

I haven't been able to play anything, ever, from any on out iPhones, with AirPlay.
