LMS on Qnap TS-253a

Hi

I'm using LMS 7.9.0 - 1470912157 on my Qnap TS-253a with Firmware-Version 4.4.2.1320 Build 20200529.

I can not see any Plugins in the list for 3rd party, especially I would like to install Spotty.

I see following error:
Falsches Repository http://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml - Redirection limit exceeded

When I would like to update to 8.1, should I take the following fiile?
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/Log...rver-8.1.0.tgz

Do I have to upload it to /share/public and rename it ./squeezeboxserver.tgz and edit the routines.sh for upgrade or is there a better way?

Does anybody successfully runs LMS 8.1 with Spotty on Qnap TS-253a or similar combination?

Ich hab das Gefühl, der versucht anstatt mit https mit http zu verbinden oder die URL stimmt nicht mehr. Es nützt aber auch nichts, wenn ich die redirected url als Repository angebe.

That repository file re-directs to https - which your LMS/NAS doesn't
support. It therefore tries to do http instead, which leads to the
redirection to https again. And so on.

You need a more up to date system with decent SSL support.
IO::Socket::SSL should be 2.066 or more recent. Unfortunately your LMS
is so old, it wouldn't even show this version number...

How did you install LMS in the first place? This NAS isn't Debian based,
I assume?
