Possible to restrict access to settings without password?

Is it possible to allow people to use the LMS web interface to play music etc, but not change settings without a password? Not that I don't trust my family, just that I'd rather not have to wonder if something has been changed when things go wrong!

Related: what is the best way to allow other family members to play music through LMS - is it to use the web interface, or something like ipeng on mobile, or something else?

    Thanks!

Material does support hiding settings via a password. If you set a password in "Server settings / Material Skin / Password" then "Server settings", "Alarms", etc, are "hidden" until you enter the same password in Material's settings dialog. You will need to reload Material after setting a password in "Server settings" before Material will show the password entry field in its "Settings" dialog. Hope that makes sense...
Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.
