I swapped the problem Radio above into another location in my home where it would be wired and it is now online. That "good" radio I then attempted to switch to wireless and it too is unable to find any networks. I tried to manually enter my wireless credentials, but no luck. Did a factory reset (Power and (+) button) and no improvement. Evidence is starting to point toward the 8.0.1 firmware as the cause.
Is there an easy way to revert Radio to old firmware as a confirmation?

If you haven't yet, you might want to report this info at the thread on the new community firmware. More likely for developers to see it there.

My error: the manual wireless network credentials entry method did work. (Just need to be careful about upper/lower case.) Sorry.
