EDIT2: When clearing the Squeezelite Output CPU setting (recommendation is 3), the message is gone.

Hi,
with PCP 6.x Hifiberry ADC/DAC was running. After upgrade to PCP 7 its not working anymore. The same result with ADC/DAC pro.

I have noticed the following messages from dmesg:

FAT-fs (mmcblk0p1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.

If I manually mount and then unmount mmcblk0p1, I get the same message on unmounting. If I try to run fsck on /dev/mmcblk0p1 (when unmounted), I get the message:

fsck (busybox 1.31.1)
fsck: fsck.vfat: No such file or directory

Any idea why I am getting this error message on umount and how it can be fixed?

This is fairly normal and can usually be ignored.

What is happening is the "dirty" bit on the boot partition has been set. This is caused by pulling the power rather than shutting down which resets the "dirty" bit.

We don't load fsck.vfat because it is usually not required.

If it is keeping you up at night, set [Beta] mode, then [Main Page] > [DOS fsck] > [dosfsck] will load a few extensions and reset the bit.

What specific task are you trying to do. Playback or record? I’ll find my Dac+ADC and see what’s up.

One of the Pis of my setup is Raspberry Pi ZERO, which runs on ARMV6. I tried to upgrade to PCP7, but I get error downloading some of the modules.

Is PCP7 tested/supports RPI zero? Is there any plan for the missing modules to be ported one day?

I had upgrade my zero without any problem.

P.S. i recently bought a rpi4: It sounds Better than the zero.
