    no. However, you can input URL manually in the Favorites section in LMS and your radio can use these.

    Be sure you go to LMS > Settings > Plugins tab > "community firmware" and tick the box there to apply the firmware. Installing the plugin doesn't tick the apply box by default.

    In the past, I've known it to take 2 days before my Radio offered to update firmware after installing the plugin and ticking the box.

    looking into the logs might help explain why you are not getting an update.

    In LMS, go to settings > information
    scroll to the bottom and look for Logitech Media file server log file.

    This is from my log which looks to see if I have the correct firmware:

    [22-08-10 16:28:22.1916] Slim::Utils::Firmware::BASE (46) Firmware check URL: https://ralph_irving.gitlab.io/lms-c...date/firmware/
    [22-08-10 16:28:22.1927] Slim::Utils::Firmware::downloadAsync (462) Downloading in the background: https://ralph_irving.gitlab.io/lms-c...0/fab4.version -> /tmp/slimupdate/fab4.version
    [22-08-10 16:28:22.2016] Slim::Utils::Firmware::need_upgrade (348) baby doesn't need an upgrade (has: 8.0.1 r16881, server has: 8.0.1 16881)
    [22-08-10 16:28:22.2032] Slim::Utils::Firmware::need_upgrade (348) baby doesn't need an upgrade (has: 8.0.1 r16881, server has: 8.0.1 16881)
    [22-08-10 16:28:22.2045] Slim::Utils::Firmware::need_upgrade (344) fab4 needs upgrade! (has: 7.8.0 r16754, needs: 8.0.1 16862)
    [22-08-10 16:28:23.4447] Slim::Utils::Firmware::downloadAsyncSHADone (524) Successfully downloaded and verified /tmp/slimupdate/fab4.version.
    [22-08-10 16:28:23.4460] Slim::Utils::Firmware::init_version_done (181) fab4 firmware is up to date: /tmp/slimupdate/fab4_8.0.1_r16862.bin
    [22-08-10 16:28:23.4480] Slim::Utils::Firmware::init_version_done (196) Scheduling next fab4.version check in 24 hours

    If you have something that blocks LMS from looking up ralphs' website, that might be why it is not updating.

    Apparently my post was removed somehow so let's try again.

    I am quite new to LMS and am trying to install the community firmware but my player is not seeing it. I am running LMS 8.3.0 - 66147463 and have installed the plugin and then went to the settings to to enable the plugin. I have changed player.firmware to debug but I do not see my player checking for an update.

    In LMS I have update checking enabled. Do I just need to wait longer? Is there a way to force it to check for updates? The button in LMS to check does not appear to trigger a check from the player. Maybe I can do it via ssh?

    Thanks in advance!

    In about 24 hours you’ll get a notice to install on your radio or touch. Nothing to set to reduce that wait.

    It was probably just coincidence then, but when I stopped LMS and rebooted the machine running it and also rebooted the Touch I was trying to install the new firmware on I got a notification right after.
