Squeezebox Radio possible replacement?

Not quite as cheap at $150, but I have an Amazon Echo Show 2 and it sounds really good when streaming from LMS. The 10.1” touchscreen is like having an iPad in permanent landscape mode. It also doubles as a regular Alexa so all told I think it’s worth the dough. It produces a surprising amount of bass and the stereo image is wider than you’d expect.

I’ve never tried tbh as I just use voice to control LMS and listen on the Show itself. I’ll try it tomorrow and update. Bedtime now...

If you are using it as a controller, yes they do, landscape only of course. (Echo Show 8)

Does that have a battery option, or is it just mains?

BTW, I have black, white and (now!) red Radios - were there ever any other colors available?

The Echo Show itself. Using the MediaServer Alexa skill, you can stream audio from LMS to any Amazon Echo device.

Good tip, didn't spot that.

However, after a couple of minutes of inactivity the screen goes to the home screen with no obvious way back.

Also opening silk browser cuts off the bluetooth connection, seems it can't multitask!
