Just bought a third SB radio last week, for 60$, works like a charm.
This product line was very mature right from the start.

I've long had my suspicions that Philippe has cloned himself and there are many Philippes working on SB stuff out there... 44 being the one that interfaces with the forums...
But now we have a hybrid Michael/Philippe - very exciting for the SB world!
I couldn't find anything better when I looked for new music solution for my sister about 5 years ago, so set her up with a couple of radios and a touch, for ongoing support of our 9 "live" players, goodness knows how many spare SB Radios I have tucked away in the cupboard, along with at least one touch, 3 Booms (including one brand new in box) 2 x SB3 and a Duet (dim screen on the controller though).
Plus the new generation SqueezeAmps and SqueezeA1S's, RPis and some wireless speakers providing some decent playtime...
Think they are all great, but the Radio is something special IMO, screen, buttons, decent enough sound, portable, still pleasant looking and for me they just work and so cheap secondhand for a full featured device.

I tend to troll ebay for squeezeboxes, and here in the US, it seems like there are allot of radios available in the last few months, which seems to have driven down the prices. I also recently snagged a red one to go with my two black and one white radio. About $50-60USD. I didn't need another radio, but I DID need a red one. I was a bit obsessed until I found one.

Squeezebox Radio possible replacement?
> I bet nobody's got one of these red 'uns!
This almost looks like one of the official (internal) renderings...
where did you find that?

Not quite as cheap at $150, but I have an Amazon Echo Show 2 and it sounds really good when streaming from LMS. The 10.1” touchscreen is like having an iPad in permanent landscape mode. It also doubles as a regular Alexa so all told I think it’s worth the dough. It produces a surprising amount of bass and the stereo image is wider than you’d expect.
