Picoreplayer lms internet radio and track fast forward or rewinding problem.

How do I add individual internet radio urls, and to what app on lms.
It is a set of paid internet radio channels. i can get the urls, but where to enter them?
Cannot find lms settings page to enter them into.
    Am I missing something?

Another problem using LMS is not being able to fastforward or rewind in a track. any attempts cause the track to play from the beginning again, or go to the next track.
Is this a software problem or a hardware problem.
There may not be enough cache/processing power to do this on the fly.
    How do I determine this?

    Many Thanks.

For part1 - adding internet radio URLs
It depends on the interface to LMS that you are using - and is not particular to pCP.
If you go to the web interface of LMS on port 9000 then it is
    Radio/Tune in URL

For part2 - does next/prev make sense for the source?
e.g. it does when playing local music but not if playing a typical internet radio stream

    Part 1
Adding Spotify/tidal requires changing settings in the apps plugin section and entering login details on lms.
Surely there is a page for manuallly entering internet radio urls on lms configuration too.
When you say it depends on the interface, what are you referring too.
Because the tablet/smartphone apps to control squeezelite donĺt have the features to enter the details there.

    Part 2
I should have made it clear that part 1 and part 2 are separate queries.
What I meant is scrolling through a track when it is playing in general.
It was not referring to internet radio specifically.
It could be internet radio, online streaming, or local media playing.
All these format suffer from not being able to fast forward or rewind within the file playing.
Although any fixes maybe relevant to which of these three methods is playing.
Is there some buffer setting feature I can change to allow, or improve this.

    Many thanks.

Very few internet streaming sources allow for fast-forward or rewind. Streams are played realtime, they are not saved for seeking capabilities. This is primarily due to licensing.

Local media, you should be able to scan to your heats content.

Is there somewhere you know I can add the internet radio urls, presumably in lms configuration menus.

    Regarding scrolling within a track.
Other streamers such as Sonos connect, bluesound node 2i and maybe more allow this.
It would be vital in a lengthy track, or podcast even.

I think I may have solved the scrolling through track problem.
I changed the settings in iPeng. The streaming option has : direct streaming, proxy streaming.
I changed it to proxy streaming, and it seems to have worked for all methods of playback.

How are you trying to fast forward through tracks? You need to long press the "next track" button.

I was sliding the progress bar in iPeng iOS app.
It seems to work now. Not sure if it was the proxy streaming thing or something else that changed things.
