I have a squeezebox classic connected to my hifi and am always looking for the best quality sound. I am running a LMS for radio. I have discovered a plugin on LMS called Radio Paradise which gives me different genres of uninterrupted music.
I also have a squeezebox portable. When I connect the LMS to the portable it offers me 192 or 320kbps. When I connect to the classic I only get the 192 option. Any body know why as I would like the higher quality on the classic?

What is that? A SB Radio?

Radio Paradise offers several different streams. Lossy choices are mp3
or AAC. The Classic cannot play AAC, that's why you'd only see the
192kbps mp3 stream.
Using the Radio Paradise plugin you'd get FLAC, as you've seen. Incl. an
interactive mode where you can skip tracks.
