I have two mysqueezebox.com accounts, a legacy from when I moved LMS from a PC to a Pi years ago. This hasn’t been a problem as I never use mysqueezebox.com. - until today, when I want to use Tidal, but can only connect to it using the players assigned to the newer of the accounts. If I delete all the players from the old account, how do I then assign them to the new one?

After player deletion, try connecting those players to MySB.com, each player will be asked to register again.
