I posted this in the Tidal-have-broken-things-again mega thread, but I'm still really struggling so I'll post separately.
I am having tracks from Tidal cut off before they end, the further into an album the worse it gets. We are talking 10-15 seconds before the end. Essentially it's unusable. I've tried logging everything I can think of but spot nothing.
The issue gets worse the further into an album so it really feels like a buffer issue.
Same with Touch and Picoreplayer.
The server is Windows and yep, it's running the very latest build.
Any ideas are really welcome. I can't believe I'm the only one seeing this.
It's not something crazy like the fact that the maths is wrong because of the translation from https to http?
Start a track at 15:09:11
It lasts 226 seconds
So the next track should start at 15:12:57
(thanks, timecalculator.net)
But it gets cut off:

What LMS version are you using?

"latest" is a relative term :-)

There shouldn't be any "translation" if you're running the latest
indeed. Is there anything about your player configuration which might be
slightly non-standard? What player anyway?

I'll have to double check why there's no length defined, and whether
this was normal behaviour.

OK, it's days old, I must keep up
Version: 8.0.0 - 1604995301 @ Tue Nov 10 09:12:51 WEST 2020
Currently listening to a
Picore 6.0
Model: SqueezeLite
Firmware: v1.9.7-1270-pCP
Had one track cut off by 15 seconds and then the next 2 worked just fine. The best issues are the inconsistent ones.
I'll install last night's build if you think it's worth a try

Yeah, that should be good enough.
> Picore 6.0
That, otoh, is rather dated. Please update to the latest 6.1.
> Model: SqueezeLite
Did you modify the SqueezeLite settings? If so, reset to defaults and
try again. (after taking notes of the old settings)

Shouldn't make a difference for TIDAL.

In situ update worked perfectly, never been brave enough to try it. But it was that or take a smartipi case apart....
Now on 6.1. v1.9.6-1206-pCP
Will now bravely sit here and test

9 tracks without problems and then it cut off with about 30 seconds to go.
Funny line at the end, is that a client issue?

Before you try a hot spot.
In the picoreplayer web gui main page.
Click the squeezelite extension full update button.
The current version of squeezelite available is 1.9.7-1282.Ralphy
1-Touch, 5-Classics, 3-Booms, 2-UE Radio
Squeezebox client builds donations always appreciated.

Aha, thanks for that. I didn't realise there was a different update path for that bit.
Done.
Back to the music.
(I have this with the Touch as well sadly)
