Hello everybody,
I have been SB fan for more than 15 years. I am running LMS 7.9 on a Netgear NAS 214 (ARM) box and use most of the player types, apart from the boom box.
As I always wanted to use a High Res streaming service I have signed up to TIDAL.
I have successfully registered and installed the app on mysqueezebox. I am also able to search and select tracks on the LMS web interface and the iPeng ios app. However, when I press play, the stream will not start. I have tried both bitrate settings and have checked the player setting (no bitrate limit).
Does anybobdy have an idea, what I could do to rectify the problem?
Thank you very much!
Jan

I am not sure what is causing the problem, but LMS 7.9.0 is very old. I would recommend to try the latest 7.9.4 or 8.0.0 nightly build that can be downloaded from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/.
Also, do you have TIDAL Premium (offering only AAC streams), or TIDAL HiFi (offering AAC and FLAC streams)? Older squeezebox players cannot play AAC streams natively, and require LMS 8.0.0 for transcoding Tidal AAC streams to FLAC or MP3 format.| LMS 8.1.2 | Squeezebox Boom | RPi0W + pCP 6.1.0 + HiFiBerry DAC Zero | SqueezeAMP |

What I'm seeing in your server.log is this:
[20-10-30 19:07:05.0700] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::_error (561)
Unable to login to SN: 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

You likely got rejected due to too many sign-in attempts. If you didn't
actively sign-in, you might be facing an issue I still haven't been able
to track down, wher LMS would start to hammer mysb.com. In this case
shut down LMS. Let it off for an hour, then start it up again.
