Remote control defective?

Hi all, just checked two remote controls for my Squeezebox Touches. What do the number keys do? I don't see any function. The other keys seem to work correct.

When browsing say "Artists", you can quickly jump to say "Q" for "Queen" by 2 presses of the "7" key.

You can enter text on any of the screens that require user input, like entering your email address, SSID, passwords, etc..

You can also assign presets to the number buttons 1 - 6.

Ok, so it seems to work. I thought that it is possible to jump to song #5 by pressing key 5.
