Announce : Times Radio (UK) 7 Day Catchup Plugin

I've been quite impressed with the new Times Radio national station here in the UK. I've found quite a lot of enjoyable content.
They make all their content available in a 7 day catch-up service. I've therefore created a plugin to access this content as a by-day schedule.

From version 2.0, the plugin also includes the live station with on air data and images.

The plugin is available from the 3rd party plugin list.

New version 2.0.0 includes

• Times Radio Live Station with On Air data and images
• 7 Day catch up now also has the correct meta data

If you have added the live Times Radio station as a favourite/preset from elsewhere (e.g. tunein), add the one from the plugin to get the on air meta-data when playing.

Thanks again for this - an interesting enhancement to me would be if it showed up under the Radio menu alongside iPlayer and other things. Right now, it's under the Apps menu for me.

I find the app/radio menu convention a bit confusing. I personally prefer any plugins I install to appear in the app menu, and I see the Radio menu as basically the TuneIn app menu. But I understand that other people are used to a different convention. It's been mentioned in discussions on my other plugin. I'll look at adding in a preference option in settings.

For the second time in as many weeks my brownie point collection has been massively boosted thanks to an expectedtofly plugin. First, when BBCiPlayer Listen Again was finally shafted by the BBC I was immediately and almost seamlessly able to switch she-who-must-be-obeyed to BBCSounds, and then today, when asked whether she could listen to Times Radio it was another "here's one I prepared earlier" moment, and within 5 minutes there it was.

Many thanks expectedtofly, no doubt you will get your reward in Squeezebox heaven.

I would also vote to add the "Show in Radio Menu" option to the Times Radio plugin just for consistency of interface if you decide to go down that route. The Squeezebox Radio interface is not the most user-friendly so being able to group the most-frequently used streams together makes life a lot easier - for her and therefore for me.

Ah yes, I had forgotten about that, this plugin has got left behind a bit in the preferences stakes. I'll add that in next time I give it an update.

Release 2.1.0 adds a user preference option to place the plugin into the "Radio" menu rather than "My Apps". It will be available from the main repository at the next refresh.

I've installed 2.1.0 but no Settings option is appearing in the Plugins page in Settings
