I listen to Pandora (paid plan) on my SB's almost every day, including yesterday (Oct. 18).
Today, October 19, Pandora thinks that MySqueezebox.com is outside the U.S. On the
Pandora page of the MySqueezebox.com website, we see
"Client restricted due to licensing restrictions (are you not in the US?)"
I uninstalled and then re-installed the Pandora App in my MySqueezebox.com
app list ("My Apps"). Login with Pandora credential then the same message
about "Client restricted..." Click that button that says "Get Activation Code"
and get same message "Client restricted due to licensing restrictions..."
Just for a double-check, yes I can listen to music
just fine from the pandora.com website. Other music streaming services that
are in the "My Apps" app list, e.g. RadioTunes.com, continue to work
ok for me via the SB's.
So wondering if anyone knows why the MySqueezebox.com website was in the U.S.
last week and is outside the U.S. this week as far as Pandora is concerned, or
what other problem might be lurking out there.
Thanks.

It actually is: our database server in the US died today. Therefore we
re-directed all players to the EU. It'll hopefully be back soon.

Thanks for the update and let's all hope.
Michael, thanks for the news regarding the switchover to a EU-based
server. I'll join you in hoping for a swift resolution.

US SB Datacenter Dead
Good afternoon. From your last message "hopefully [US data center] back soon," can we infer that that there will in fact be a US Datacenter in operation again?

MYSqueezebox.com is running on AWS Ireland
Confirming the previous post....
My Pandora app does not work because mySB.com ip address is hosted on AWS in Ireland.
ec2-34-247-45-207.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com
What is the time frame to getting this fixed and back to US?

Problem with Squeezebox and Pandora pre-dates issue of thinking it's outside U.S.
For about 10 days now my Squeezebox (SB) alarm has been failing to connect with Pandora, which has been working fine for years. It would display the icon indicating no signal. When I tried to connect to Pandora using a Favorites button I could get the station but no sound. If I rebooted SB and used the Favorites route again, I could get Pandora to play music. I had been repeating this exercise every day until today when I got the licensing message questioning whether I was in the U.S. I suspect the two issues are linked. I just checked with Pandora and they said Logitech was aware of the problem.
I had tried re-starting my modem and router with same result. Also checked that Pandora plays fine on my tablet which uses the same wifi network as SB.
I do wish that Logitech would notify customers if it has such a problem rather than having us chase around trying to find out what's wrong.

I already said "ASAP". I could add: later this week.
Fact is: I don't know.
