    Indeed. The problem lay with the hardware I attempted to use. Not to mention my own slowness of intellect from time to time.

    The one thing that tripped me up was remembering the exact name/spelling/case for the server and share names, so setting network locations failed. More than once I am afraid to admit . I have seen on other threads in this forum that this happens to others as well. I also admit to a bit of thinking too much, "what am I doing?" why do I need to do this?".

    I think Greg's effort (and others) in the documentation area will help the first timers alot.
